Reposing at his home on Monday (house private, please). Removal on Monday
evening to Church of the Most Holy Rosary, arriving at 7.00pm. Requiem
Mass on Tuesday at 12.00 noon. Burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery.

Father, we thank you
first for life,
for creating each of us
and making us persons
through those who love us.
We thank you still more
for your Son, Jesus Christ
who gives meaning and hope to our lives.

And we are bold enough to ask for more
that you give us Jesus this day
under the signs of bread that is broken
and a cup that is shared,
so that in our hearts we may know
we do not live for ourselves alone
and we, too, will find him
in the breaking of the bread:
in loving and serving each other,
and in the brokenness of life,
when we are healed.

The death has occurred of John Mahon Snr. of Templeowen, Tullow, Carlow

Suddenly. John Snr., C.Q.M.S. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (née Dowling). Sadly missed by his loving son John, daughters Theresa, Sandra, Deborah and Kathleen, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, retired and serving members of Defence Forces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGuill’s Funeral Home, Bennekerry from 9.30am this Friday morning, prayers this Friday evening at 8.30pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 9am to The Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Tullow, arriving for Mass at 10am, followed by Cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Removal at 6.45 pm to reach Church of the Most Holy Rosary at 7.00 pm.
Funeral Mass on Thursday at 2.00 pm. Burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery.
