After the absence of a decade, Tullow Variety Group re-introduced pantomime back to Tullow last spring with their production of "Cinderella @ Tullow.Com" (Photos and details further down this web page). In January of 2004 the groups second production "Beauty and the Beast" will be staged in the Murphy Memorial Hall.

The cast are working hard rehearsing for the show under the direction of Don O'Connor from Kilkenny.

In this production Sinead Evans will play the lead role of 'Bell'. Playing opposite her in the role of 'Prince Nicholas' is Dennis Murphy. In the part of 'Gertie' is Maria Ansbro and her opposite 'Bertie' will played by Jimmy O'Brien. The comic duo will be Karen Fitzpatrick and John Curley Byrne. As usual the part of the dame will be played by William Patton, while John Doran will play 'King Aurthur' and Adrian Kelly will be 'Sir Dandy'. The part of the witch will be played by Lorraine Binions. Other parts will be played Patrick Kirwan and Stephanie Byrne and supporting cast, chorus, singers and musicians.
