As part of their programme to meet the needs of all children in the Tullow area the Schools Completion Programme based at the Tullow Community School organised a Mini-Summer Camp for the Children of the Area. More that ninety primary school children participated in this years mini-camp organised by Michael Byrne the programme co-ordinator assisted by a core of enthuastic trained volunteers.

The schools completion programme although it includes all children aims to help children with disadvantage by providing a link between the children and the local primary schools, and by providing and putting in place the necessary resources and help to ensure that all the children of the area complete both primary and secondary educational.
