On 28th October 2005 past and present pupils, parents, teachers, Board of Management, and all associated with Ardattin National School gathered to celebrate the School's 50th year serving the educational needs of the Ardattin area. The celebration began with a Mass celebrated by Bishop Jim Moriarty assisted by the present Priests of the Parish and those who have served the Parish and School in the past. After the Mass over three hundred parents and past pupils assembled in Ballakealy Manor Ballon for a celebration meal and entertainment. A most enjoyable night was had by all.
