                         TULLOW CELEBRATES WINNING ALL IRELAND PRIDE OF PLACE

An evening to celebrate Tullow's win in the Co-operation Ireland - All Ireland Pride of Place victory in Belfast City Hall last month took place in the Mount Wolseley Hilton, Tullow on Saturday 26th November 2005.
A large gathering of people were in attendance at the Celebration Evening and were greeted by a complimentary glass of wine sponsored by Hickson's Supervalu.
The audience watched a video of Tullow's entry into the Pride of Place competition and heard Carlow County Council Manager, Mr. Joe Crockett thanked and congratulated the four entries from the Councy - Ardattin, Hacketstown, Carlow CDP area and Tullow who deserved special congratulations on winning the Co-Operation Ireland - All Ireland Pride of Place Award.
Kenny Dunne thanked Kathryn Wall and Clare Hutton, Area Engineer, Pat Connolly and his staff, the government agencies Fas and Leader Social Economy participants.
The audience was entertained by Shane Jackman singing "The Carlow Song", Fanagan School of Dancers, Sara Goggins and Paul Browne and Brian Murphy.
