The original property was part of the Patrician Brother School. It was purchased by Tullow Gaelic Athletic Association in the 1970's and subsequently purchased by Tullow Parish in the 1980's and renovated and extended into a Parish Community Centre. The new centre was officially opened by Her Excellency Mary McAleease President of Ireland in 2000. The centre now houses the Parish Office, five meeting rooms, a fine hall, and a kitchen with tea making facilities. The meeting rooms are available to rent by groups, clubs, organisations at reasonable rates Clubs, Groups and Organisations Using the Centre include:
