TULLOW THE GRANITE TOWN

 

 

 

Tullow has traditionally been called the Granite Town

This is evident from the many granite structures, buildings and walls that exist in Tullow

The traditional skills of Granite Stone Building continues in Tullow today below are a series of photos from Summer 2003 of the building of the entrance to the new Cairdeas Centre. The Cairdeas Centre will care for people with special needs and will be the base for Tullow as Host Town for the Bolivian Athletes for this Summers Special Olympics.
