MEMBERSHIP: Open to men and women of 55 years and over whose day is no longer taken up with work, either retired, unemployed or redundant, or those who find it difficult to fill their time.
ACTIVITIES: range from walking to bowles, from holidays to art, from learning new skills to making new friends. There is something for everyone.
HEALTH: By encouraging healthy activities for members, Active Retirement fosters a sense of well-being, thereby, assisting in keeping members 'healthy both physically and mentally'.

Tullow Active Retirement Association will hold its second night of storytelling, music, entertainment and fun in Tullow Parish Centre on Friday, April 11th at 8 p.m. with MC Seamus Dowling. Following the tremendous turnout at the first night of storytelling you are advised to come early in order to secure your place. Below are photo's of the first night
On Friday 14th March 2003 the Tullow Active Retirement Group organised a night of music, song and story telling in the Tullow Parish Community Centre. The night was an outstanding success and I hope there will be many more nights arranged. Below are some photo's of the night and of those who took part.
